Easiflow Operable Louvre
EASIFLOW operable louvres are a modular, functional and cost effective operable ventilation solution. Blade angle adjustment provides easy control of airflow and light.
The perimeter frames and blades are manufactured from sheet metal in a variety of materials including aluminium, Zincalume steel, Colorbond steel, stainless steel and other more exotic materials depending on the finish required and corrosive environment.
Blade holders are made from UV resistant nylon and Blade are operated via galvanised steel link bars ensuring reliable operation.
Application
EASIFLOW operable louvres are ideal where variable light and ventilation is required. The modular system will suit most wall systems and construction. Louvres can be provided in a variety of finishes to match architectural features and aesthetic requirements.
Typical uses include factories, warehouses, sports halls, swimming pool complexes, multipurpose halls, schools and education facilities.
Options
- Frame Widths - Frames can be either 100mm wide to provide 35% free area and 45 degree opening or 190mm wide to provide 67% free area and 85 degree opening.
- Operation - Louvres can be designed to operate using manual levers, manual hand winder or electrical actuators. If electrical actuators are utilized the louvers can operated by push button controls or linked to a building management system to include automatic operation via wind / rain / sun / time sensors.
- Finishes - Are dependent on base sheet metal. Aluminium is generally supplied in mill finish powdercoated. Zincalume is generally in natural, powdercoat or special paint finishes. Stainless steel and Colorbond require no applied finishes.
- Screens - Bird mesh, fly screens and security mesh can be provided.
- Security Bars - Can be provided for additional protection against unauthorised entry.
Size
Up to 1500mm wide for individual bays. Overall louvre area can be extended by the use of mullions and transoms. Refer to our sales staff for in relation to design options.
Performance
Airflow - When fully open the Easiflow 100 louvre will provide up to 37% free area. The Easiflow 190, when fully open, will provide up to 67% free area.
